Job Summary:
The Receptionist is the first line of contact with our guests, delivering and providing exceptional customer service. This position represents the dealership in a professional manner at all times, assisting guest with their needs and directing them appropriately.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Professional appearance and good work ethics
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
- Must be able to clearly address customer queries or concerns
- Able to handle minor customer complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction standards
- Must satisfy criminal background check and drug test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Essential Functions:
- Greets the customers with enthusiasm and professionalism while always providing the highest level of exceptional customer service.
- Operates multi-line phone system in a professional manner to obtain appropriate information and address the caller’s needs.
- Develops knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquires.
- Routes all incoming calls as needed, using the caller's name whenever possible
- Assists clients/members in booking appointments.
- Minimizes the time callers are on hold and checks back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding.
- Screens incoming calls as requested by managers.
- Takes thorough messages and provides basic information to callers and maximizes usage of voice mail system.
- Communicates with all callers in an efficient manner, minimizing the time they are put on hold.
- Keeps record of who is on hold and who the caller was holding for if the call comes back to the operator.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to perform work safely
- Works well without supervision.
- Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge or ability to use internet software; spreadsheet software and word processing software.
- Intermediate language capabilities such as the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Basic math capabilities such as the ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Intermediate reasoning abilities such as the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
